CREDAI Tamil Nadu has introduced its roadmap for the years 2025 to 2027, focusing on easier approvals, planned city growth, and attracting NRI investment. Under the leadership of new president W.S. Habib, the group aims to support better housing, faster development, and stronger partnerships with the government. Projects like Prestige Pallavaram Gardens in South Chennai reflect this vision.
CREDAI Tamil Nadu, the main organization for private real estate developers in the state, has announced a bold plan for the next three years. The new president, Mr. W.S. Habib, who is also the Chairman and Managing Director of RWD, shared this vision during a recent press meeting.
He spoke about the need to make real estate development simpler and faster. "Real estate is not just about buildings," he said. "It creates jobs, builds infrastructure, and supports the economy. If we can speed up approvals and make rules easier, everyone benefits—homebuyers and builders alike."
One of the main goals is to create master plans for all 135 major cities and towns in the state. These are detailed plans that guide how cities should grow—where roads, homes, parks, and services should go. Mr. Habib said these plans are the foundation for cleaner, more organized, and future-ready cities.
In areas like South Chennai, we're already seeing these ideas take shape. The Pallavaram-Thuraipakkam Road stretch, where Prestige Pallavaram Gardens is located, shows how smart planning and good connectivity can make a place ideal for living and investing.
CREDAI Tamil Nadu currently has 10 chapters in different regions. Over the next few years, it plans to open 5 or 6 new chapters in growing districts like Vellore, Thanjavur, Nilgiris, Karur, and Sivagangai. These local chapters will help developers work more closely with authorities and focus on the specific needs of each area.
To attract investment from abroad, CREDAI Tamil Nadu will host international expos under its FAIRPRO brand. These events will be held in major cities such as Dubai, Singapore, Riyadh, Muscat, Abu Dhabi, and Doha.
The goal is to show Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) that Tamil Nadu, especially places like Pallavaram and other parts of South Chennai, is ready for modern real estate. With upcoming metro lines, better roads, and high-end projects like Prestige Pallavaram Gardens, the state offers strong value for overseas buyers.
The new roadmap also highlights three important focus areas:
These changes will help reduce delays and increase transparency for developers and homebuyers alike.
